COUNTRY WEEK
Our annual "Country Week" is coming up soon.  It will be happening from March 19 to 23.  This year we will be looking at the country of India.  If anyone has any knowledge, books, costumes, artefacts, or skills (like dancing???) and would be willing to share them with us, please let us know.  During country week the students travel from class to class, each afternoon, with their own "passports" and experience a number of different activities.  Like - food, art, games, music, dance, culture, etc...
It will be an exciting adventure! (and then the following week is Spring Break, rest time).

STORY TIME
I have been reading a book called "Owls in the Family" to the class over the last few weeks.  This classic Canadian novel was written by Farley Mowat and it takes place in Saskatoon.  It tells about a boy who has two great-horned owls as pets.
